Directors

The directors of Engsolve have extensive experience managing oil, gas, industrial, chemical and manufacturing facilities design, operation and management, both within client and contractor organisations.

Paul Emmitt, Director:
Paul is a Chartered Materials Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist with over twelve years engineering and Operational management experience both in the UK and overseas. His experience encompasses work in the oil, gas and chemical industries as well as periods with major international companies. In all sectors he has been a designer as well as a project and HSE manager. Paul’s main focus within Engsolve is in developing the company’s business and in developing a wider services offering.

Richard Riddell, Director:
Richard is a Chartered Chemical Engineer by profession, a Fellow of the IChemE and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemists with over 40 years engineering, operations and facilities management. Richard has managed projects worldwide within the chemical and general engineering sector as well as in Oil and Gas, consultancies and contractors. Richard is a qualified HAZOP chair and provides risk reviews, risk assessments and facility safety reviews across most industry sectors. Richard’s main focus within Engsolve is on the delivery of projects in a professional manner, client liaison and new sector business development.

Scott Mayled, Director
Scott is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Professional Project and Costs Manager with a very strong track record in delivering safe, cost effective projects across multiple business sectors. His experience as a QS and project and cost manager has allowed Engsolve to focus on cost effective and efficient delivery projects in our key sectors. Scott has previously worked for client organisations managing the delivery of large capital investment projects and more recently the successful delivery of over £1.5M worth of modifications to an operational LNG import terminal.  Scott’s role is in the provision of project management and project controls services.
